The Perfect Spring Break Race! US Road Sports brings you the 9th Annual Sarasota Half Marathon and Relay along 13.1 miles of gorgeous beaches, and both natural and historic attractions. Take the challenge March 16, 2014!
The 7th Annual First Watch Sarasota Half Marathon features a very refreshing 13.1 mile course along some of the world’s best beaches, award winning theaters, and both natural and historic attractions. Managed by the producers of the ING Miami Marathon, Chicago Half Marathon, and 13.1 Marathon® Series, the First Watch Sarasota Half Marathon is set to be one of great participant perks, charitable partners, and safety throughout the best course options this beautiful town has to offer.
*New Course starting and finishing at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Center
*Course Hours: The course will be open for 4 hours making it a true walker-friendly course
*Relay option for 2012:
• 1st participant begins at 7:00 AM and completes the first 5.5 miles of the course
• 2nd participant will take over at mile 5.5 and complete the remaining 7.6 miles
*Average Temperature at Start: 60 °F
